About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager, the Industrial Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing physical plant and related mechanical systems equipment while adhering to building, fire, infection prevention and control codes and regulations. These systems may include medical air systems, medical vacuum systems, HVAC systems, control and service air compressors, fire suppression systems, boiler systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, reverse osmosis systems, domestic hot and cold-water circulation systems, building heating and cooling circulation systems, physiotherapy pool systems, laundry washing, drying, and folding systems. The Industrial Mechanic may also be required to assist in the installation and maintenance of new mechanical systems. The Industrial Mechanic may perform other duties as required. Travel within the zone or other zones as needed.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Certification
- Exposure to mechanical systems in a maintenance or installation capacity within a similar sized production, industrial or commercial enterprise.
- Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Able to develops solutions to problems from specialized knowledge and/or fundamental principles of the function, service and/or technical discipline.
- Adhere to Department of Labour standards.
- Valid Drivers License or access to reliable transportation required

Hours
- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits
$32.79 - $38.55 Hourly
