About the Opportunity

 Reporting to an IMIT Manager, the IMIT Senior Systems Analyst is part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of initiatives and programs throughout the province.

 

The IMIT Senior Systems Analyst supporting the Human Resources (HR) Digital Solutions portfolio supports the overall administration and transformation of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and will contribute to ensuring our HR digital tools support business goals, enhance the employee experience, and enable data-driven decision-making. The HR Digital Solutions portfolio supports HR technology through ongoing sustainment and operational activities, as well as project and transformation initiatives

 

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the administration, maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR digital solutions
  • Work on complex, cross-functional, and provincial business application solutions.
  • Collaborate with client partners and vendors, providing support to internal clients and vendors for ongoing projects, functional enhancements, incident troubleshooting and resolution, and solution recommendations.
  • Analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements, while coordinating and executing system integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Administration of upgrade initiatives, integration activities, transport management, and release planning schedules.
  • Ensure all activities are supported by NSH IM/IT mission and vision, established policies/procedures, and in line with service level agreements between NSH, IWK and the Department of Health.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following.

 

  • Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis or systems support.Ability to communicate complex issues and challenging scenarios clearly to clinical, business, and vendor stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of healthcare and HR systems principles and technology best practices
  • Skilled in solving complex problems, identifying innovative solutions, and applying clinical best‑practice insights
  • Experience supporting transformational and operational analysis to help drive organizational change
  • Experience applying user‑experience principles to guide system improvements and operational decisions
  • Experience developing clear summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis
  • Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Demonstrated adaptability when navigating shifting priorities or emerging technologies
  • Experience implementing  and supporting HR solutions across key functional areas
  • Experience supporting SAP Time & Payroll modules, HCM and GRC is an asset
  • Experience supporting SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding 2.0 is an asset.
  • Experience supporting SuccessFactors People Analytics is an asset.
  • Experience supporting SuccessFactors LMS is an asset
  • Experience supporting UKG Pro Workforce Management is an asset.
  • Experience supporting operations and projects considered an asset.

 

Hours

  • Permanent Full-Time Position; 75 hours biweekly
  • Hybrid Position

Compensation and Benefits

$38.36 - $47.95 Hourly
