About the Opportunity
Reporting to the IMIT Manager - Development and Testing, this role will lead the development of innovative, high-performance applications. You will work across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications tailored to user needs.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C
- Comprehensive knowledge of iOS SDKs, frameworks, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
- Proven experience with architectural patterns like MVVM or VIPER
- Strong experience with testing frameworks and tools
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes
- Awareness of secure coding practices for protecting patient data
- Experience integrating with third-party healthcare APIs, such as laboratory systems, insurance providers, or patient monitoring devices
- Familiarity with the following tools and frameworks will be considered an asset: SPM, Cocoapods, Firebase & GA, Gitlab Pipelines, Fastlane, TestFlight
- Familiarity with data privacy and security standards for handling sensitive health-related information (e.g., Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Privacy of Personal Health Information Act (PHIPA))
- Experience with containerization and cloud-based deployment.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published apps in the App Store
- Certification in iOS development or related technologies

Hours
- Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits
$40.15 - $50.19 Hourly
