About the Opportunity
This role will lead the development of innovative, high-performance applications. You will work across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications tailored to user needs.
Responsibilities will Include:
Application Development and Maintenance
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications across multiple platforms
- Ensure seamless integration of APIs, databases, and third-party libraries to deliver robust solutions.
Performance, Security, and Optimization
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance for speed, efficiency, and reliability.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and recommend improvements to enhance scalability and security.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort, and create innovative, user-focused solutions. Ensure that effort estimation is integrated into project planning, sprint planning, and backlog grooming to support realistic timelines and resource allocation.
- Actively participate in code reviews and utilize version control systems to maintain high-quality codebases.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Drive the adoption of best practices, including secure coding standards, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies, providing recommendations for potential adoption to enhance application functionality.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experienced in at least one major programming language or framework relevant to the role, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, Swift, Kotlin, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in application development, including expertise in front-end and back-end development and/or platform-specific development
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and data privacy standards
- High level of diplomacy
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients; able to work cooperatively and effectively with others to share knowledge, set goals, and resolve problems
- Excellent communication skills; able to speak, listen and write in a clear, confident, thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques
- Effective time management and decision-making ability to set priorities based on deadlines (both internal and external); demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Highly resourceful and adaptable with the ability to problem-solve.

Compensation and Benefits
$38.36 - $47.95 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
