About the Opportunity
The ATE Site Lead has a deep understanding of their designated facilities, acts as an intermediary between specific realms, offers guidance to optimizing efficiency, communicates development updates, and feedback, and monitors performance. By building strong and vibrant links, ATE site leads would also engage in Interdepartmental coordination, external communication, resource management, improvements, engagement, and support through practice transformation within designated areas.
From now until mid May, 2025, in the pre-deployment phase, this position operates under a flexible hybrid model. Team members can primarily work from their home location while occasionally traveling across Nova Scotia for essential readiness activities. This arrangement ensures effective project deployment while respecting work-life balance and personal commitments. Once your designated Go Live for your facilities has finished, you will be expected to participate in the remaining go lives as needed. The ATE Site Lead will also be point person for Down Time procedures for your designated site and assist in the development of process and procedures related to such.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Profession required
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in Nova Scotian local health, specific to site selection. Previous leadership experience preferred
- Consideration may be given to those with equivalent years of experience
- Knowledge of Victoria General Site preferred
- Masters Degree in relatable field an asset
- Diploma In Health Care, Health Sciences or Health Administration an asset
- Project Management and change management certification would be considered an asset
- Proficient knowledge of the healthcare industry required; familiarity with administrative hospital functions, grounded local experience and departments preferred
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to execute through effective delegation, motivation, and oversight
- Communicates and interacts with OPOR team, managers, directors, key external local community stakeholders, ability to explain the NSHA vision, mission, and values
- Ability to perform independently and manage workflow appropriately
- Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong working relationships
- Ability to demonstrate project management, customer service, and support skills, and ability to escalate and contribute to resolving issues accordingly
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Long-assignment, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
- Approximately 18 months, with possibility of extension (assignment length is subject to change)
- This position is eligible to participate in our work from home program
Compensation and Benefits
$40.15 - $50.19 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
