About the Opportunity

In conjunction with the Clinical Manager, the Team Lead is responsible for the overall day-to-day clinical service delivery. The Team Lead will provide administrative, organizational and leadership support to the Outpatient Mental Health & Addictions team, and also provide direct clinical client service in their professional role (ie. Clinical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Psychologist). 

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Counselling (With a Clinical Undergraduate Degree) or Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed with applicable body (NSCSW, NSBEP or NSCOT)
  • Five (5) years' experience with Mental Health & Addictions intervention
  • Provides evidence-based therapeutic intervention to Mental Health & Addictions clients
  • Ensures all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Identifies areas for service improvement and facilitates and evaluates quality initiatives
  • Drafts Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials and others guidelines for care
  • Provides leadership to the team in the areas of client-centered decision making, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Long Assignment Full-Time Position (100%) ; 75 hours bi-weekly.
  • 18-month assignment, dates approximate and subject to change 

Compensation and Incentives

$44.37- $51.73 hourly
