About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manger for Northern Zone Access and Flow & Care Coordination Center , the Clinical Training Lead will support an interprofessional team and numerous working groups responsible for the development, adjudication and implementation of governance, evidence informed best practice and standardization within the C3 Program. The Clinical Training Lead acts as a subject matter expert within their area(s) of specialty, as well as providing structure/framework, project management support for working groups, initiatives and projects. As well as be responsible for providing oversight for the development of healthcare standards to support the implementation of clinical information systems.
The Clinical Training Lead co-ordinates clinical care process design and reviews activities across the organization to ensure maximum benefits and enhancements are achieved.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Baccalaureate degree in a health related field
- 3-5 years of experience in an acute care clinical training setting, plus 1-2 years working in a supervisory and/or leadership capacity would be an asset.
- Strong understanding of clinical information/data and how these are managed, used, and operationalized within the clinical information system to create knowledge.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with software programs related to bed utilization (i.e. Meditech and C3 software)
- Demonstrated minimum of one-year experience in clinical utilization training.
- Demonstrated leadership in clinical and policy change.
- Broad knowledge of the applicable standards of practice and guidelines for clinical practitioners.
About You Cont.
- Broad knowledge of clinical process, workflows, clinical services delivery, and patient/client satisfaction determinants. Demonstrated clinical expertise, with the ability to apply systems and critical thinking.
- Demonstrates strategic, creative, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize current computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.) and computerized health care application(s).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean or related process improvement principles.
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

- Full-time Long Assignment, 75 hours biweekly

Compensation and Benefits
$40.15 - $50.19 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan. (Permanent Long Assignments Only)
