About the Opportunity

 

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the department equipment, in accordance with standards, regulations, and department policies; and to ensure the continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products in the department, so as to provide clean and safe products to be used by the laundry customers, in appropriate quantities; and to carry out the above functions in a professional manner, that achieves the Mission, goals, and Objectives of the Nova Scotia Health.

About You

 

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

•    Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required.
•    Knowledge of Infection Control procedures.
•    Completion of WHMIS training.
•    Good knowledge of the Infection Control Guidelines as they pertain to an industrial laundry operation. 
•    Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

 

•    Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

 

$19.26 - $20.02 Hourly
