About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Health Services Manager of the SDSU / PACU, the Booking and Registration Team Lead is responsible to provide leadership and supervision to clerical staff within the department of the VG SDSU / PACU. The Team Lead trains staff, resolves daily operational problems or issues, supervises and motivates clerks. The Team Lead ensures accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality of work performed. They will prepare daily time sheets, schedules, vacations, etc.
Performs other related duties.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following
:
- Grade 12 plus completion of 1-year post-secondary related business / clerical program
- 2 years of related experience required
- Medical Terminology preferred
- Highly developed leadership skills.
- Above average coordination, organization, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Above average ability to work collaboratively with clerical staff, support staff, nursing staff, physicians, project and leadership team.
- Monitors and reports workplace safety issues as per NSH policy and procedure.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

- Permanent Full-time / 70 Hours Bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits
$25.18 - $28.08 Hourly
