About the Opportunity

Reporting to Director of Procurement, the Sourcing Manager leads a new team that works with stakeholders to support specialized sourcing requirements for specific NSH programs and categories.  Adaptability, creativity and a solution-oriented approach are keys to success in this role.  The Sourcing Manager will often be involved in high value & complex innovative projects where new approaches need to be developed by coordinating the efforts of NSH stakeholders and the NS Government Procurement Shared Service.  The Sourcing Manager helps NSH programs succeed in their strategic initiatives by ensuring that NSH clients are supported in navigation and facilitation through the procurement process.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • Undergraduate degree required, in business, science or engineering preferred
  • Recognized Professional Supply Chain Designation (SCMP) is an asset
  • Public Sector Procurement Program (PSPP) from the Procurement School is an asset
  • Project Management certification is an asset
  • Masters Degree in a relevant field is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience with directing and overseeing the supply chain activities of an organization
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong financial, conceptual and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skill with the ability to organize, control and coordinate a variety of activities in a fast-paced environment across various projects
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Possesses a solid understanding of supply chain process and key performance indicators
  • Experience with, and a high understanding of IT-driven supply chain

Hours

  • Permanent, Full-time / 1.0 FTE / 75 Hours Bi-weekly 

Compensation and Benefits

$42.94 - $53.67 Hourly
