About the Opportunity

The IM/IT Sr. Business Analyst (BA) reports to the IM/IT Digital Technical Solutions Manager and is responsible to support the Manager and team with related healthcare redevelopment, planning and leasing initiatives. This role involves managing technical and business sponsors, guiding individual initiatives through internal intake processes, gathering and analyzing business requirements, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors, and ensuring solutions align with organizational standards and objectives - within the IMIT Digital Technical Services Portfolio. The IM/IT Sr. BA collaborates with key stakeholders throughout the province and in partnership with the province’s Internal Services Department and Build Nova Scotia.

 

The IM/IT Sr. BA will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT supported technologies are aligned with NSH’s and its client’s strategic mission, vision and goals. Additionally, this position ensures that all activities within their responsible area are supported by NSH IM/IT business plan, established policies/procedures.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis or systems support.
  • Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset.
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP) and/or organizational change management an asset.
  • Ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult scenarios to clinical and business staff.
  • Working knowledge of basic systems principles, theories and concepts within healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of health care and technology industry best practice relating to software applications..
  • Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to solve high risk, complex issues.
  • Experience in transformational or process analysis to support change management principles.
  • Ability to clearly communicates NSH vision, mission and values.

Hours

  • Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$38.36 - $47.95 Hourly
