About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Principal Investigator and to the Research Manager, the Research Core Lab Analyst reviews and interprets cardiac test results and reports. Core Lab Analysts use their significant knowledge of the anatomy and function of the heart, in conjunction with their specialty cardiac diagnostic testing background, to support the execution of trial protocols and/or ensure data integrity of investigator initiated, multi-site trials. This is a remote position with flexible hours.
The primary responsibility of the Research Core Lab Analyst is to support the execution of research protocols through review and analysis of cardiac reports for data abstraction and entry, as well as the data integrity of investigator initiated studies which require core lab review prior to adjudication. We are currently seeking analyst with cardiac device interrogation, specifically ICD interrogation.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area an asset
- Graduate of an accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or Cardiovascular Technology (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Cardiology Technologists or Cardiac Sonographer required
- Previous experience reading electrogram (EGM) reports required
- Current registration preferred
- Previous research experience considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated problem solving ability, strong strategic and critical thinking abilities
- Competencies in other languages an asset
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Computer processing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
