About the Opportunity
We are growing in Hematology Research again! We are a dynamic group of over 30 dedicated research staff working closely with our Hematologists to bring the best of treatments to our patients. We offer many educational opportunities involving research processes and hematological disorders. Reporting to the Associate Director and Manager, Hematology Research, the Research Coordinator RN is responsible for the coordination of research projects conducted at QEII within the division of Hematology. This coordination includes the management of study administration of the studies/clinical trials, caring for the subjects participating in the studies and the management of documents and data collected throughout the study period.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Degree or diploma in Nursing
- Current registration with NSCN required
- Minimum of two years experience in Nursing required
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification (training provided if needed/required)
- Knowledge and experience in Hematology/Oncology nursing an asset
- Experience in clinical research an asset
- CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet
- Demonstrated competencies in computer skills, including databases.
- Demonstrated clinical and assessment skills related to the scope required for a particular study and patient population (i.e. CPR, ECG, physical, performs phlebotomy, etc.)
- Effective interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Effective research and analytical thinking skills
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and rapport-building skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multi disciplinary team environment
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Benefits
$40.15 - $50.19 hourly
$78,294 - $97,867 annually
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan. (Permanent Long Assignments Only)
