About the Opportunity
The Research Assistant supports research studies by coordinating study administration, participant scheduling and screening, data collection and management, and regulatory documentation while serving as a key point of contact for study-related inquiries. The role also provides administrative and project support by organizing meetings and timelines, maintaining study records and databases, processing financial and ethics documentation, and ensuring accurate filing, reporting, and achieving research materials.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field, or completed post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field required
- Two years’ research related experience preferred
- CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset
- TCPS2: CORE Certification considered an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet
- Proficiency with current Capital Health systems (STAR, PHS and/or LIS) an asset
- Effective communication, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to draft, format and edit office correspondence
- Well developed organizational, time management and daily planning skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Two years related experience preferred
- Previous experience in a health care/research setting is an asset
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
- Approximately 12 months
Compensation and Benefits
$23.34 - $29.17 hourly
