If you have experience in clinical research and want to enjoy a dynamic, supportive team – Hematology Research is the place for you. Reporting to the Research Manager, the Research Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the administrative coordination of research projects conducted within Nova Scotia Health. This includes the ongoing preparation of documents such as Research Ethics applications, study consent forms, preparation of Health Canada required documents and sponsor required documents.  The administrative coordinator is responsible  for communication with the Research Ethics Board (REB), study sponsor, principal investigator and research manager in relation to multiple research studies and the management of documents collected throughout the study period.

About You

 

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:


• Successful completion of a one year Secretarial/Business diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Minimum of three years related administrative experience
• Medical Terminology course preferred
• CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset
• Previous research experience preferred
• Working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and Division 5, Code of Federal Regulations is an asset
• Knowledge and experience with Research Ethics Board applications preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet
• Effective communication, customer service, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to draft, format and edit office correspondence
• Well developed organizational, time management and daily planning skills
• Ability to deal with a wide variety of people and personalities in a professional manner
• Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment

Hours of Work

 

Long Assignment, Full-Time (75 hours bi-weekly)
Beginning July 22, 2024 until July 22, 2025 with opportunity to renew

Compensation and Benefits

 

$25.13 - $31.61 Hourly

$49.007.79 - $61,641.06 Annually
