The Integrated Workforce Planning (IWP) team works collaboratively within our network and connections, to co-design workforce solutions and make strategic recommendations. Our goal is to support operational partners with the information they need to proactively align and monitor supply and demand. The team supports both clinical and non-clinical workforces within the organization. The IWP helps to define key workforce priorities for the organization, in order to meet its mission, vision and values.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Integrated Workforce Planning Director, the Manager, Integrated Workforce Planning (IWP) is a provincial role providing leadership to the team responsible for developing strategic direction and operational plans related to projections and capacity for new staff, learners, and students that complete unpaid clinical placements ensuring consistency with legislation, accountability frameworks, and the NSH mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of the organization.
Working in partnership with the IWP team, the Student Learner Placement and zone Interprofessional Practice and Learning (IPPL) teams, People Services, and other operational leaders, the IWP Manager provides leadership in the development and delivery of projecting future workforce demand and province wide workforce strategies and plans.
The IWP Manager is responsible for up-to-date data, analytics, and projections that support new staff, learner, and student capacity and ensure the Regional Placement team engages with site leaders to continuously review the data and projections, solicit feedback, and adjust as necessary.
This is a Work from Home position and will require periodic travel. A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation will be required.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health profession, education, or related field required
- Master’s degree in health profession, education, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience required
- Equivalencies of education or experience may be considered
- Current registration with professional association if applicable
- minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in health care and/or project management capacity required
- Experience in engaging, mentoring and empowering teams and stakeholders in a collaborative, participative manner to respond to the mission, vision, goals and objectives an organization
- Experience in initiating, leading and managing organizational change, and complex work
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with ability to interpret program evaluation data to inform quality and performance indicators and benchmarks
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and negotiating skills with the ability to develop and sustain alliances with the academic and health care sectors
- Experience working with diversity of learners, staff and stakeholders, with knowledge of cultural competence, diversity and social inclusion
- Sound knowledge of information and learning systems
- Experience in financial planning and human resource management

Compensation and Benefits
$45.45 - $56.81 hourly
$88,629 - $110,786 annually
