About the Opportunity
The Electronics Technologist collaborates with the Cyclotron Team Lead, Radiochemistry Laboratory Technologists, and external contractors as part of the maintenance team for the Cyclotron Facility. The Technologist is responsible for electronics associated machine repair, preventative maintenance, maintaining parts inventory, GMP documentation, IT related support, and operating the cyclotron. Participates in coordinating workflow, preventative maintenance schedules, and prioritization, in addition to mentorship of junior staff.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Graduate of a two-year course in Electronics Engineering Technology (accredited diploma) required
- Must be registered or eligible to be registered with TechNova as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) within two (2) years of hire
- Minimum (5) years of linear accelerator experience with a combination of IT or x-ray imaging equipment maintenance
- Must have working knowledge, safety, and experience in servicing radiation emitting devices and all medical imaging devices with electrical devices
- Must have working knowledge/training of electronics with the ability to understand the operation and have manual skills required to repair, calibrate, perform safety, performance routine inspections on electronic, electrical, mechanical and optical equipment, devices, systems and instruments
- Effective communication skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
Shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends
Compensation and Benefits
$41.20 - $47.86 hourly
