About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the CT Technologist is responsible for the efficient operation of the CT scanners. They will organize and perform computed tomography examinations efficiently and professionally.
The CT Technologist positions the patient to obtain high-quality images; operates equipment safely while following radiation protection guidelines, practices sterile techniques when required, and performs clerical duties related to the handling of the customer.
Travel to other sites may be required.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- CAMRT CT courses or CT Imaging Certificate an asset
- CT experience preferred
- IV experience preferred or willing to be trained in intravenous injection and will be required to use a contrast injector
- A high degree of mental, visual, and manual dexterity is required
- Works independently and as a healthcare team member to ensure exceptional patient care
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Permanent part-time position; 48.75 hours biweekly
- Call and shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends
Compensation and Benefits
$36.15 - $42.19 hourly
