About the Opportunity

Recovery and integration (R&I) are one of the services of the Mental Health & Addictions Program. Simpson Landing is located on site at the Nova Scotia Hospital in Dartmouth, NS. The delivery and services are guided by the principles of Recovery-oriented approach. Simpson landing offers opportunities for people living with mental health illness and experiencing significant functional challenges. Clients work on recovery focused goals to eventually help them to transition successfully back into community living. Programming about life skills, cooking, paying the bills, employment, education, treatment, wellness and health promotion, relapse prevention, family and peer support are some of the interventions that are offered at Simpson Landing. Our goal is to meet the clients where they are on their road to recovery.
