About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Linen Distribution Manager, the General Laundry Worker is responsible for primarily finishing and folding clean linens at the Central Laundry. Additionally, the successful candidate is responsible for pickup, sorting, washing, folding and distributing clean linen; ordering supplies, and maintaining billing status. This position is also responsible for recording the weight of laundry each day and preparing a report at the end of each month. The incumbent also maintains and cleans equipment and the work area.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required
  • Ability to maintain established production standards
  • Must be able to work with little supervision and the ability to multi-task
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Full-Time, Long-Assignment position; 75 hours bi-weekly 
  • Approx 12 months
    Dates Subject to Change
  • 4 day on, 4day off rotation. Must be available to start at 5am-4pm

Compensation and Benefits

$19.26 - $20.02 Hourly
