Our nurses work in contemporary settings, facing challenging work environments with an ever-increasing need for expertise in collaborative practice. The nursing teams at the IWK include registered nurses, nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists working in a variety of areas and nursing roles. Many have also bridged the gap between clinical care and medical research, working as clinician scientists.
