Remuneration is $1400.26 per day for the full-time, evening and weekend call stipend, plus fee-for-service billings for anyone seen after 5pm and before 8am.
The setting for our program is the YRH, which is a friendly and collegial workplace where everyone actually does know your name. The hospital houses a 24 hour level III Emergency Department and district trauma centre, 93 inpatient beds, 7 bed ICU, 3 operating suites, and provides a range of primary and secondary services through in-patient, outpatient and satellite programs, skilled nursing staff and Helipad for emergency airlift to Halifax.  Inpatient Units includes Surgical, Medical, Obstetrics & Nursery, ICU, and Mental Health.
