About This Opportunity

Senator’s Health Centre in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia is searching for a family physician to join this robust and rewarding collaborative practice. The successful candidate will join four other Family Physicians, one Nurse Practitioner, a Family Practice Nurse, one Social Worker, and a part-time Dietician. 
This office is in a brand-new space which offers ocean views! This opportunity awaits the right candidate who is looking for the chance to join a busy and exciting collaborative practice. 

Responsibilities

  • delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
  • work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
  • participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
  • utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR  which is accessible to all collaborating team members
